Travelin’ Light
Biography
Starting in 1991, the Travelin’ Light Jazz Duo performed on tour and at the major jazz venues in North America and Europe. Utilizing the unlikely combination of tuba and acoustic guitar/banjo, the duo performed extensively on radio, television, and recorded four compact discs on the Telarc, Concord Jazz and Summit Records labels. The many educational clinics taught by Travelin’ Light while on tour were the inspiration for the cd “Getting It Together”; a user-friendly approach to jazz improvisational studies.
