A ubiquitous group in the Mile High region worthy of attention is the Bob Montgomery/Al Hermann Quintet, essentially an articulate and special jazz voice that rings and swings from the Rockies, carrying the jazz tradition forward. Bob Montgomery is an internationally recognized performing artist who has backed such artists as Sammy Davis Jr., Diana Ross, Tony Bennett, Quincy Jones, Nancy Wilson, and many more. Al Hermann has an active professional trombone career. He recorded an album with the great Carl Fontana, and has released several albums of his own.
