Boneyard, from trombonist Tom Brantley (and special guests), features newly commissioned works for trombone in a variety of jazz settings as well as new arrangements of classic jazz standards... and in true Boneyard style, Brantley takes the framework and foundation of jazz (the good bones) and creates something unique and new by adding his own creative vision propelling the music forward. The disc offers tracks discovered and forged in the lab of the recording studio as well as tracks recorded live in front of an audience to capture the freshness of true improvisation before a packed house of fans!
