Live at the Jazz Bakery – Brian Swartz Quartet

This live recording is a collection of standards performed by Los Angeles based trumpeter Brian Swartz’s quartet featuring Bob Florence on piano. It features the rhythm section, Trey Henry on bass, and Dick Weller on drums, from Bob Florence’s Limited Edition big band.

The quartet interprets standards with a unique combination of space and intensity. Each member of the group brings their improvisational mastery which unit to give each selection it’s own, individual life.
