Biography

Kevin Ray Clark started his career as a staff musician for Walt Disney World in Central Florida. After a decade, he moved to New Orleans to become the trumpeter and music director for the Dukes of Dixieland. This put him in the company of New Orleans’ finest musicians. He toured the world with the Dukes, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Pete Fountain, and the New Orleans Nightcrawlers Brass Band.
After a decade of touring & blowing Jazz on the Riverboats and Bourbon Street night clubs, Clark set out to Toronto, Canada and became the music director for Toronto’s Historic Distillery District. Performing nightly with his quartet and booking live entertainment for three venues was a perfect fit. The South beckoned. After a brief residence in Charlotte, North Carolina, traveling in and out of town, New Orleans called once again. Kevin and family relocated to the Big Easy and Kevin is now the bandleader for Dukes of Dixieland band, performing nightly on the Steamboat Natchez and traveling the world.
