Valerie Potter has performed as principal flutist of the New Mexico Symphony since 1993 and has performed with many orchestras across the country. She is currently serving as associate professor of flute at the University of New Mexico. Her discography includes a recording of twentieth century wind quintet repertoire with the New Mexico Winds. Kevin Vigneau is associate professor of oboe at the University of New Mexico and principal oboe of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra. He has recorded solo works on major labels.

Clarinetist Keith Lemmons is the professor of clarinet, a Presidential Teaching Fellow and twice Teacher of the Year at the University of New Mexico. At UNM since 1984, he has an international reputation as a soloist and chamber musician Eric Rombach-Kendall is professor of music at the University of New Mexico, where he has served as Director of Bands since 1993. His bands have received national acclaim and he is the conductor and co-producer of two additional Summit recordings.
