Roy Eaton
24 / 7 plus 7

Preludes of Chopin, Gershwin and Still.

Chopin: Though many recordings of the 24 Chopin preludes exist, few also include two additional preludes that he wrote on the same CD
Gershwin: Gershwin wrote 7 not just 3 preludes…this is the first recording of all 7.
Still: One of the influences that encouraged Gershwin to create a new American classical music. Still was also one of the first African-American composers to gain credence in the Classical Music arena.

Roy Eaton is a very accomplished pianist who gives these pieces life…charming but serious…very enjoyable listening…this is a gem of a CD. — Victory Music Review
