Incredible, high-energy Dominican-brand Latin jazz with unusually high musicianship! Fascinated with Latin music since he was young, Stephen Anderson spent months researching Dominican music, transcribing various piano tumbao patterns as well as native grooves. Based on these, he composed five new charts and then invited Sandy Gabriel and Guillo Carias to submit compositions for what would become The Dominican Jazz Project.
